Review by hotel critic
The motel's unassuming exterior belied the beautifully renovated rooms, which exuded cleanliness and charm. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in providing real cream and milk for coffee, a small touch that elevated the experience. The kitchenette in the suite was equipped with all necessary cookware and utensils, offering a convenient option for those who prefer to prepare their meals. The patio door leading to a picnic table in the back was a pleasant surprise, adding a touch of tranquility to the setting. The breakfast included homemade bread, showcasing the host's hospitality and adding a homely touch to the stay. While the amenities were on the modest side, the cleanliness, good heating, and quiet ambiance made for a comfortable retreat. The proximity to the village with its excellent dining options was a definite plus, balancing the simplicity of the motel with accessibility to local attractions. Motel Du offers a solid value proposition for those seeking a peaceful stay without compromising on comfort.
